| The Quality Control of the process is made
in two different steps: Quality Control on raw materials
and Quality Control of the final product. Our Quality Control Department is divided in three sections: Laboratory, Sampling Preparation and Water Treatment, and is equipped with X-Rays Spectrometer, Atomic Absorption Spectrometer, Infrared Carbon Analyzer (LECO), Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectrometry (ICP - OES) and all equipment necessary for volumetric analysis. The customers’ requirements are always fulfilled. After 26 years supplying high quality Silicon Metal all over the world, LIASA is well known as a reliable supplier, and its Silicon Metal is a standard for Quality. LIASA is certified by ABS - Q.E to manufacture Silicon Metal according to the ISO-9001:2008 Standard, by the Certificate 32058, effective since November 1st, 1996. Our Quality System (SGQ-LIASA) is open to our Clients’ to inspections.
